Anna Von Crayon
From a very young age, Anna enjoyed experimenting with creativity through the simplicity of crayons. This was the inspiration for her pen name. In addition to soaking up art through books and galleries, she developed a lifelong passion for art.
Anna gained a strong following after many years of performing at spoken word events around the West Midlands. She received abundant positive feedback for the powerful yet gentle way her poems address difficult subjects. The quality of rhythmic and dynamic delivery stood out. Anna began to headline events, resulting in the decision to independently publish a collection of poetry. The desire was to immortalise the poetry from speech to paper, alongside reaching a wider audience. Anna hoped to inspire others to express their own feelings through art, believing strongly in the benefits of art therapy.
Anna regularly works as a model for artists. She specialises in holding challenging poses for long periods of time. This provides the artists with the best possible opportunity to create their work.
Anna designed a range of clothing, specialising in wearable art of a unique nature. AVC Attire consists of uniquely alternative designs. Being environmentally conscious, the garments are made of organic cotton, coloured with natural water-based inks, and the designs adorning them are transferred via direct-to-garment laser technique, ensuring longevity to the images.
Anna is an active member of the Wellington Arts Collective, a wonderful group of artists working in various mediums who congregate to support each other’s artistic passions, create collaborative pieces, and bring more art to the local community.
